Come canvass for Mike Westgaard’s campaign for Renton City Council! Let’s elect someone who will fight for working people.

Mike is a proud union shop steward and longtime Seattle DSA member – his campaign envisions connecting our chapter to the organized labor movement and the working class struggle in South King County. Mike is a champion for housing and transit for all, ending the war on drugs, and defending Raise the Wage Renton!

Mike is running as a democratic socialist in a grassroots campaign against a Chamber of Commerce backed establishment incumbent – to win he will need OUR HELP! We’ll meet at the Downtown Renton Library for sign-ins and training, then head out to talk to neighbors about Mike’s campaign.

We will be organizing carpooling options, if you need a carpool please enter the relevant information into the Action Network RSVP form. First time canvassers are welcome. We will provide a training before the canvass. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately!
